After the high pressure match before thousands of screaming French fans, Schuh defeated Folkard for another gold medal performance from team Hoyt. Completing the Hoyt sweep, Hoyt's Pia Carmen LIONETTI of Italy took the bronze medal.
In compound action the French Women's Team used their Hoyt compounds for a new World Record. The team consisted of Auora TRAYAN, Amandine BOUILLOT and Valerie FABRE.
Individual medals in women's compound went to Hoyt's Aurore TRAYAN with a great gold medal performance, while Hoyt's Amandine BOUILLOT took third.
In men's action, Hoyt's Dejan SITAR of Slovenia won the silver medal, while Antonio TOSCO of Italy used his Hoyt for a fourth place finish. Both Sitar and Tosco were using Hoyt Vantage series bows.
Also of note, team Netherlands dominating the Men's compound team event. All three members of team NED were shooting Hoyt bows.
The next big event takes place at the beginning of June as the world's top shooters get together for stage three of the Archery World Cup in Antalya, Turkey.
