Archery fans were treated to yet another outstanding display of accuracy and dominance by Team Hoyt this week during World Cup Stage Three competition in Antalya, Turkey.
In the Men's Compound Division, Sergio Pagni (ITA) repeated his Stage Two victory in Porec, Croatia with another gold medal-winning performance. With one World Cup tournament remaining before the Grand Finals later this season, Pagni is poised atop the Men's Compound ranks with a total of 50 points thus far.
Pagni's Hoyt teammates Dejan Sitar (SLO) and Peter Elzinga (NED) also shot their way to the podium, winning silver and bronze, respectively. Rounding out the top five for Team Hoyt in the Men's Compound Division were Patrizio Hofer (SUI) in fourth place and Majid Ahmadi (IRI) in fifth.
The Women's Compound Division was equally exciting, as Team Hoyt placed six ladies in the top 10. Eugenia Salvi (ITA) and Jamie Van Natta (USA) battled for the gold; Salvi won the match by one-point after a grueling shoot-off. Rounding out the top 10 for Team Hoyt's ladies were Anna Kazantseva (RUS), Nicky Hunt (GBR), Sofia Goncharova (RUS) and Anne Laurila (FIN).
