Hoyt shooter wins gold, ladies sweep podium at World Cup Finals
LAUSANNE, SUI - Team Hoyt's Jamie Van Natta recently capped off an already incredible season with yet another high-profile victory, as she won gold at the FITA World Cup Finals in this Olympic headquarters city.
With the world's best shooters vying for gold, reaching the podium was no easy task. But in typical Team Hoyt fashion, Van Natta and her Hoyt teammates held tough and fought their way to the top spots. Van Natta enjoyed a two-point victory over Hoyt's Nichola Simpson (GBR) to win gold in the women's compound division, and Amandine Bouillot (FRA) won the bronze medal match for Hoyt.
Van Natta's World Cup gold was another incredible victory in a season that has been nothing short of spectacular. She also won gold at the FITA World Field Championships, the NAA Outdoor Nationals and the NFAA Outdoor Nationals.
Team Hoyt's compound men also fared well at the World Cup Finals, with Patrizio Hofer (SUI) and Pat Coghlan (AUS) winning silver and bronze, respectively, and Sergio Pagni (ITA) finishing fourth. In women's recurve action, Hoyt's Natalia Valeeva also took her place in the top four.
Hoyt would like to congratulate all of its shooters on an outstanding showing at the FITA World Cup Finals.
