1400+ FITA's are Falling to the Hoyt Vantage Elite!

2/26/2009

Hoyt Pro Staffer Steve Clifton recently switched to Hoyt last season and has been on the rampage breaking records in New Zealand ever since. Clifton holds nearly every record in New Zealand and just added another to the list. Clifton’s 1403 FITA marked the first person ever to shoot a 1400-plus score in New Zealand.

"Shooting conditions were mild, there was wind with some rain, but the Vantage Elite held steady and shot perfectly. This new bow has drummed up a lot of attention here; everyone was shooting my bow after the shoot!" said Clifton.

Weeks before Clifton broke the 1400 barrier, Brazil’s World Cup Medallist, Roberval dos Santos, shot two 1400-plus scores with his Vantage Elite. Santos started with a 1401 and followed it up with a 1406, marking the fourth 1400-plus score he has shot in one straight year.

"I'm very satisfied with the Vantage Elite. It's so calm and quiet. It’s an easy bow to shoot," said Santos.

These scores are a testament to the competition-crushing accuracy engineered into every Hoyt bow.
