Redding, CA - Cold temps, tricky winds and heavy rain proved little threat to Team Hoyt at the recent NFAA National Marked 3-D Championship in Redding, CA. The much-anticipated tournament draws the nation’s top shooters, and once again, Team Hoyt asserted its dominance and owned the podium.
Team Hoyt took the top five spots in the Pro Male Freestyle division, with Shane Wills tying a course record 1535. Jesse Broadwater finished second, and Dan McCarthy - the 2007 and 2008 Redding champ – finished third. Dave Cousins and Josh Schaff took fourth and fifth place, respectively, for Team Hoyt. Over the past four years, Hoyt shooters have dominated the Pro Male Freestyle division, winning 11/12 of the top three positions.
Hoyt’s Erika Anschutz took the top spot in the Pro Female Freestyle division, and Jeff Fabry in the Pro Male Freestyle Limited division.
Also of note for Team Hoyt was Hoyt Marketing Manager Jeremy Eldredge’s first-place finish in the Male Freestyle division, and Kris Schaff’s victory in the Young Adult Male Freestyle division.
