YANKTON, SD – The podiums were painted Hoyt red in Yankton, as Team Hoyt rocked the competition in the Men’s Pro, Women’s Pro, Freestle Limited Pro and Senior Pro divisions.
The father-son duo of Reo Wilde and Dee Wilde celebrated Father’s Day early, as Reo took first place in the Men’s Pro division and Dee won the Senior Pro division. Reo and Hoyt teammate Dave Cousins fought a fierce battle for the top spot, and in the end, Reo won by a narrow margin. Jesse Broadwater, Shane Wills and Braden Gellenthien rounded out the top five for Team Hoyt in the Men’s Pro division.
Team Hoyt also swept the podium in the Women’s Pro division. Jamie Van Natta finished in first place, with Erika Anschutz and Tiffany Reeves finishing second and third, respectively.
Topping off the complete gold medal pro division sweep was Jeff Fabry winning the Men's Pro Freestyle Limited divsion. Jeff has had incredible run, either winning or making the podium at every NFAA event this season.
The tourney featured an exciting “Three-Star” shoot-off that yielded a huge prize for one Team Hoyt member. Shooters who competed in Vegas, Louisville and Yankton shot head-to-head for a brand new car. At each end the distance got further and further. Hoyt’s Jesse Broadwater went all the way and dead-centered his last arrow to clinch the win and drive away in a brand new car!
Also of note for Team Hoyt ... the NFAA Unmarked 3D was held in Yankton in conjunction with the Classic. Dave Cousins crushed the competition and enjoyed a first-place victory.
Hoyt would like to congratulate all of its shooters on their awesome performance at Yankton!
