Not content to only have won every single World Archery event so far this year, members of Team Hoyt are raising the bar on the World Archery record books as well.
The spate of new records started last month with Peter Elzinga’s (NED) new FITA 1440 record of an incredible 1419, along with a new 70-meter record of 358/360.
It continued this past weekend with Peter breaking his own 50-meter world record of 357 with a mind-boggling 358 on his way to victory in the Dutch Nationals.
And, not to be outdone by Peter, Hoyt’s Seppie Cilliers (RSA) set the new 30-meter world record with a perfect 360 with 33X-ring count.
Seppie’s winning performance set seven national records as well, tacking new numbers on the board for 90 meters, 30 meters, FITA round, 30-meter double round, 50-meter double round, and double FITA round records.
Team Hoyt has won every major event in World Archery so far this year and has taken 95% of all medals in world events this season - an incredible performance!
