The whitetail rut is in full swing in many parts of the country, and Hoyt shooters armed with the new 2010 Hoyt Maxxis are finding sweet success! Several Hoyt Pro Staffers have reported from the field with incredible stories of just how well this awesome new bow performs. And the proof is in the pictures!
Team Hoyt’s Ralph Cianciarulo and his Maxxis wasted no time getting to work, tagging trophy bucks in his home state of Illinois, as well as North Dakota. Watch for these hunts on future episodes of Ralph & Vicki Cianciarulo’s hit show “Archer’s Choice” on The Outdoor Channel.
Travis “T-Bone” Turner dispatched a dandy buck in Kansas with McMillan Outfitting just days ago. Rolling on to northern Indiana straight from Kansas, the Bone Collector crew has been chasing rut-crazed whitetails all week. Nick Mundt struck first, downing a hefty, battle-scared 8-pointer that sauntered into range and fell victim to the Maxxis. Within minutes of getting word of Nick’s buck, Michael Waddell grunted a Pope & Young 8-pointer into range, and his Maxxis sealed the deal in short order. Cameramen Marc Womack, Stephen Boulware and Kenneth Lancaster – the newest member of the Bone Collector team – recorded the action for Waddell’s “Bone Collector” show on The Outdoor Channel.
