Cousins, Maxxis Dominate the Field at Easton-Newberry Open!

NEWBERRY, FLORIDA – The Easton-Newberry Sports Complex recently hosted the first ASA event of the 2010 tournament season, and Team Hoyt picked up right where it finished last year – in the winner’s circle!

Hoyt’s Dave Cousins and his Maxxis 35 steamrolled the competition and won the Men’s K50 Division by an incredible 22-point margin over fellow Hoyt shooter Andrew Callaway. Paul Thompson and Kenny Lantz finished third and fourth for Team Hoyt, respectively, in the Men's Open Pro Division, while Danny Evans and Eric Griggs also notched solid top-ten finishes in the Men's Open Pro Division.

The state-of-the-art Easton Archery Center opened its doors in October 2009. It’s the cornerstone of the Easton-Newberry Sports Complex, and it’s yet another example of the Easton Foundation’s commitment to promoting archery and providing archers of all ages and skill levels with a place to have fun and hone their skills. Whether you’re just starting out in archery or training for world competition, the Easton-Newberry Center offers incredible opportunities to develop your skills.
