LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – Hoyt shooters continue to tear up the 2010 tournament trail! Their most recent podium-topping run in the U.S. was at the NFAA Indoor Nationals, where a long list of Team Hoyt members made short work of the competition.
Reo Wilde and his Vantage Elite emerged victorious in the Professional Male Freestyle division, edging out Team Hoyt’s Gary Smith, Jr. and his Maxxis 35 Bone Collector Edition. The crowd was on their feet as Reo clinched the emotional victory. And when Smith, Jr. was asked why he shoots a Maxxis over a traditional target bow, he replied, “It shoots great because it’s a Hoyt!”, which further ignited the Hoyt-heavy crowd!
Hoyt’s Jesse Broadwater took third in the Professional Male Freestyle division with his Contender Elite, and Tyler Heck and Shane Wills finished fourth and sixth, respectively, for Team Hoyt.
Not to be outdone, Team Hoyt’s ladies also took charge. In the Professional Female Freestyle division, Mary Hamm and Christie Colin took first and second, respectively, for Team Hoyt, while Erika Anschutz, Nancy Zorn, Jamie Van Natta and Amber Dawson claimed spots 5-8, respectively.
The Contender Elite owned the Senior Professional Male Freestyle division, as Joe Kapp took the top spot, Don Ward finished third, and Steve Boylan and Dee Wilde finished fifth and sixth, respectively – all with their Contender Elites.
Also of note for Team Hoyt was Jeff Fabry finishing second in the Professional Male Freestyle Limited division, Mark Salsgiver and Jim Burns finishing first and second, respectively, in the Senior Male Freestyle, Lynn Hoch taking the top spot in the Adult Male Bowhunter Freestyle division, Heather Zofko-Bills winning the Adult Female Traditional division, and Bridger Deaton taking first place in the Young Adult Freestyle division.
Hoyt would like to recognize all of its shooters on their awesome performance at the NFAA Indoor Nationals!
