The NFAA’s popular Indoor Nationals was again held in the town famous for bats and bourbon, and once again, for the third year in a row, it was Hoyt’s Mary HAMM taking the win in the women’s premiere class, Professional Freestyle, with an impressive show of accuracy- a perfect 600 with a 118 X-count.
Close behind were Mary's Hoyt teammates, Jamie VAN NATTA, with a 600/116, and Christie COLIN with a 600/115. Mary previously won the event as an amateur, so this makes a total of four career wins in Louisville for the Texas based archery star.
In the Professional Freestyle Limited category Hoyt’s Jeff FABRY showed his usual tenacity and focus, taking the win with a near-perfect 599/83. Jeff’s victory follows his outstanding championship performance at the Vegas Shoot earlier this year.
In the Pro Men’s category, Hoyt’s Jesse BROADWATER shot strongly for the silver medal, after posting a perfect 600/120. Jesse ended second in the shootoff for the final ranking.
In the Senior men’s class, Hoyt’s Steve BOYLAN followed up his Vegas win earlier this season with second place in Louisville.
Men's Barebow was taken by Hoyt shooter Rick STARK.
