Team Hoyt has once again dominated the finals of the Archery World Cup, as they have in every final since the inception of the World Cup since the circuit started in 2006.

This time the finals took place on the spectacular and historic Bosporus Straits separating Asia and Europe, in Istanbul, Turkey.  The wind-swept venue on the water presented another spectacular challenge for the 32 best shooters in the world in both recurve and compound categories.

Team Hoyt’s Brady ELLISON (USA) repeated his spectacular 2010 World Cup final win, once again wielding his ultra-accurate Hoyt Formula series recurve to victory at 70M after taking an unprecedented three World Cup stages earlier this season.  The bronze medal went to Hoyt shooter Dmytro HRACHOV (UKR) while the women’s recurve bronze was won by Team Hoyt’s Berengere SCHUH (FRA)

Team Hoyt compound star Rodger WILLETT Jr, who also took an historic three World Cup stage wins this season, took gold at the finals, defeating Team Hoyt’s Reo WILDE in the precision 50M round final. Hoyt Pro Staff shooter Sergio PAGNI (ITA), last year’s grand champion and the first man to win two World Cup finals in a row, took bronze this time around.

Not to be outdone, Team Hoyt’s Erika ANSCHUTZ made it three out of four gold medals for the USA and Team Hoyt, taking the women’s compound gold over her Hoyt and USA teammate Christie COLIN.

Erika and Rodger also won the coveted Longines Precision Prize, given by the famous Swiss watchmaker to the most accurate archer in World Cup competition as determined by 10-count through the season.  Team Hoyt utterly dominated the race for the precision prize and took the victory for a second year in a row.
