The ASA 3-D tour made its third stop in Paris, Texas for the Delta Southwest Shoot Out. After two-days of competition, the top five from each pro-division shot five additional targets for an opportunity to solidify the lead or move up the leader board. Many Hoyt Pro-staffers had outstanding performances.
In the Men’s Pro division, Jame Jamison lead the charge ranking first going into the shoot-down and maintained his lead and won the event outright. ”It was definitely fun to shoot so well and have every arrow hit where my pin was aimed,” said Jamison.
Dan McCarthy was ranked fifth going into the Shoot-down and shot well enough to bump up to a third place finish.
Tim Gillingham shot solid and finished in fourth place.
In the Women’s Pro division, Hoyt’s Cara Fernandez, the winner of the first two stops of the ASA tour, had a top ten finish -putting her ahead in the race for the shooter of the year award.
In the highly competitive K-50 division Daniel Matthews notched his second win in a row and Sam Wolthuis finished in second.
The next stop in the ASA tour is the Realtree sponsored event in Augusta Georgia on April 27-29.
