Team Hoyt Sweeps World Field

Hoyt Shooters Take Every Premiere Title in World Championship

Val d’Isere, France

Some of the toughest Alpine terrain and challenging shots of the past decade of World Field Championships featured a special challenge for competitors in the 2012 World Field Championship- but Team Hoyt rose to the occasion, taking every single Gold Medal in the premiere classes of the event.  Men’s recurve, Women’s recurve, Men’s compound and Women’s compound were all swept by Hoyt shooters, and on the men’s recurve podium every shooter shot Hoyt recurve bows.

Hoyt shooter and Team France standout Jean-Charles VALLADONT brought the home crowd to their feet with his win over USA shooter Jake KAMINSKI, fresh from his Olympic Silver performance in London.  Past World Champion Jon SHALES (GBR) took the Bronze.

For the women’s recurve, it was Hoyt’s Elena RICHTER (GER) wielding her Formula to victory.

Team Hoyt continued their domination in the compound ranks as well, with Team Hoyt shooter Jesse BROADWATER (USA) winning the men’s compound title, while Hoyt shooters Ivana BUDEN (CRO) and Petra GOEBEL (AUT) took first and third, respectively.

Hoyt shooters also won the Gold in the recurve junior men’s and recurve junior women’s divisions, the barebow women’s division, the compound junior women’s division and had a total sweep of the podium in the compound junior men’s category.
