Team Hoyt continues 2013 season domination

Berlin Indoor Latest Success Story for Team Hoyt

As the 2013 indoor season is well underway, Team Hoyt shooters continue to dominate competitions worldwide.  After sweeping wins at the first leg of the Indoor World Cup in Singapore, Berlin was the next stop for Team Hoyt and the Berlin Indoor saw most podium slots taken by Hoyt shooters.

Standing on the gold medal steps of the podium was two-time World Cup Final Champion Sergio PAGNI (ITA), who was recently married to Italian Olympic archer and fellow Team Hoyt shooter Pia Carmen LIONETTI.  Pagni’s surgical precision and unmatched mental game under pressure were the deciding factors for his great performance.  2 time World Champion Albina LOGINOVA (RUS) took women’s silver in compound action.

Meanwhile in the qualification round, Team Hoyt’s Mike SCHLOSSER (NED) shot an amazing 598/600 (World Archery scoring) for a new European Compound Junior Record.

Team Hoyt’s recurve men performed a total podium sweep with the Formula HPX system, taking Gold, Silver and Bronze.  Carlo SCHMITZ (GER), Rick van der Ven (NED) and Camilo MAYR (GER) were 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while Germany’s Lisa UNRUH took women’s recurve silver with her Hoyt Formula.
