Two World Archery Records fell on July 6 , 2013 to Hoyt shooters, Mike Schloesser and Peter Elzinga (NED) at the Dutch Nationals. Schloesser broke the full Jr. World Archery record with an amazing 1414/1440. The previous record was a 1406. “My Pro Comp Elite XL is shooting really well for me. I am loving the Spiral X cam and the awesome groups I’m getting. I couldn’t let Kristina Berger’s world record be the only one shot this season.” Commented Schloesser.
Current World Archery senior record holder, Peter Elzinga (aka Mr. 1419) broke the 90 meter record with a 352 out of 360. The prior record was a 350. To put that into perspective, that’s hitting a 12cm circle 28 out of 36 times, and the 8 that missed the ten ring were still well inside a 24cm circle.
