SIMPLE AND SCRUMPTIOUS RABBIT AND RICE SOUP
1 (14-ounce) can chicken broth
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup chopped, cooked rabbit (leftovers)—other game can be used as a substitute
1 cup cooked rice
½ teaspoon basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat broth to boiling, then add frozen mixed vegetables and simmer until tender. Add meat, rice, herbs, and seasonings. Simmer until heated through.
